How do oils cleanse my skin?

Our skin constantly secretes an oily or waxy matter, called sebum, which mixes with impurities and dust. During massaging, natural oils dissolve oil and dirt deep inside the skin's pores, pull out and remove dead skin cells, help remove bacteria and soothe inflamed skin. It is very important to carefully remove all residue with a soft wet cloth.

Why do you say a few drops, but my face absorbs more?

Very dry or tired skin may need more oil at the beginning to replenish necessary nutrients. It literally drinks the oil, but you will soon feel the difference and will start applying a few drops as advised.

Why should I apply oils to wet skin?

Oils have the power to lock moisture inside the skin and prevent it from evaporation. Splash your face with plain water or spray with floral water to maintain hydration and help your skin look young and fresh.

Moreover, wet skin allows for gentle, easy spreading of oil on the skin, without any pulling. It is more susceptible to the applied product and we achieve better results.

And last, but not least, you use less oil which allows for longer use of the product.

Can I skip using another product after the cleansing oil? Would it be sufficient for my face?

Of course. If your skin is not dry or dehydrated, clean and nourish with Aura cleansing oil only. A sense of skin tightness may signal the need for additional care. I have a favorite moisturizer that I would like to continue using. Is it possible to use both the moisturizer and the face oil?

Face oils are a perfect combination for your moisturizer. However, it is good to know that the first product you apply will be more effective for your face. For example, if you use a moisturizer, it is better to apply it first, hydrate the skin, and then follow with the face oil to lock moisture inside. In this case, you will not completely experience the oils' precious qualities. We advise alternating order of products application till you find the most beneficial routine for your skin.
